Like many, I expected immigration to be at the forefront of Canada's 2025 election.
Like many, I'm saddened yet relieved by the silence of federal leaders. ๐ฎโ๐จ
The 2024 political sphere had too much heated rhetoric for my taste. But I grew up in a WASP household and also understand as an adult that we can't resolve our problems by ignoring them.
BUT A MOVEMENT IS GROWING.
Over 100 "Canadian community organizations, business groups, and others are calling on our federal leaders to commit to renewing a ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ถ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป that is unifying, creates shared progress, and focuses on our collective benefit and a better future."
